GPTA

The GPTA is the Grymes Parent Teacher Association, and every parent or guardian of a Grymes student is automatically a member. The GPTA’s main role is to assist Grymes with events and fundraisers through a committee of volunteer parents. In recent years, GPTA fundraising has provided 10 pairs of binoculars for the science lab, classroom cameras for kindergarten and First Grade, a new set of encyclopedias for the library, 15 scientific calculators, and even a trip to the Chesapeake Bay for the seventh grade class.

Being a part of the GPTA is a fun way to give back to Grymes and be actively involved in your child’s school. Whether it’s becoming a classroom parent, participating in the Fall Family Picnic, or sharing your voice in GPTA meetings, we encourage you to get involved.

WAYS TO PARTICIPATE

The GPTA is a lively organization that gives Grymes parents an active role in the school community. We value your input and appreciate your participation in any capacity. Please get in touch with us to find out more about volunteer and fundraising opportunities offered through the GPTA.
